Marudi’s Kelulut Honey

Marudi is a town on the Baram River in Miri Division, Sarawak, Malaysia. Marudi is a quiet town situated inland from Miri, similar in size to Kapit though nowhere near as busy. Before Miri was founded, Marudi was the administrative centre of the northern region of Sarawak. Therefore, it is recorded as the oldest town in Sarawak (Almost 160 years old). As modernization and globalization took place, this town was slowly forgotten and industrialization and agricultural activities had almost been on a standstill for decades. Therefore it’s a perfect stingless bee breeding and keeping sanctuary. Marudi is surrounded by primary and secondary forest and is home to many genuses of flowering herbal plants and fruit trees were stingless bees collect their nectars from.  The stingless bee nesting environment is far from any heavy industries or pollution, hence making the honey produced by Marudi’s stingless bees very sought after for those who know the true golden value of the Marudi’s Kelulut Honey which is proudly farmed by Amoijamu.

Marudi’s Kelulut Honey by Amoijamu will be on sale by the end of first quarter of 2021. Our honey are currently being laboratory tested for Heavy Metal Contamination, Nutrition, Toxicity and Microbiological by government recognized laboratory.
